Sheep of the Good Shepherd Cemetery

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Anderson donated land in Watson Township near the old church for a cemetery on April 15, 1879. Several of the founding members of this congregation are buried there, along with many recent members.

All records for the cemetery are maintained at the church office of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Allegan, Michigan. If anyone wishes to be buried or have their cremains interred in our church cemetery, we ask that you contact the church office at (269) 673-3335. Currently there are seven (7) single plots remaining in the old section of the cemetery. We anticipate that by late Spring of 2024 we will have an additional 500+ plots available in the new section. The charge for members of Immanuel Lutheran Church to purchase a plot is $200 and for non-members is $400 per plot. A single plot can accommodate one body or the cremains of two individuals.
